Matt Damon Vows To Never Eat A Single Grape Again After Odyssey Ordeal
The Bourne star claims playing a Greek hero turned his stomach against tiny fruit and wearing leather skirts for life.

Matt Damon is finally putting his foot down, and honestly, we’re here for it. After shrinking his physique to play a legendary hero in a Christopher Nolan epic, Matt has decided that he’s officially retired from the 'extreme diet' lifestyle. Sources close to his refrigerator say the actor is currently staging a protest against anything that isn't a double cheeseburger or at least bread-adjacent.
Apparently, going full Odyssey required the kind of discipline that involves staring at a piece of grilled chicken until you start to see God. Matt says he’s done with the hunger pangs. If a role requires him to have a six-pack, he’s suggested Nolan just draw them on with a Sharpie or hire a body double who doesn't mind weeping over a bowl of steamed spinach every night.
He’s also over the period-piece wardrobe. The actor joked that if he never has to strap on a pair of leather gladiator sandals again, it’ll be too soon. Between the calorie counting and the calf-chafing, Matt is ready to move into his 'loose-fitting sweaters and pasta' era, which is a lifestyle we can all get behind. If the next script doesn't allow for a mid-scene snack, you can expect his agent to hit 'decline' before the email even lands.
